The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Whether sitting gracefully in the lap of British royalty or playing happily in a modern family home, there is no denying the captivating charm of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Their rich, silky coat and signature feathered ears may catch your eye at first, but it is their warm, melting expression highlighted by large, soulful dark eyes that truly steals your heart. No wonder this gentle and affectionate breed has remained one of the world's most beloved canine companions for centuries.

Breed History
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel boasts a rich history as the ultimate royal companion. Named after King Charles II of 17th-century Britain, who rarely went anywhere without his beloved toy spaniels, the breed has graced castles and royal estates for centuries. While the original look of the breed was nearly lost during the Victorian era due to crossbreeding, a dedicated revival effort in the 1920s brought back the classic, elegant look seen in early Renaissance paintings. Today, the Cavalier remains one of the most highly sought-after companion dogs, officially achieving AKC recognition in 1995.

How Our Adoption Process Works!
First, please tell us about yourself. We want to get to know you a little better before we introduce you to your new best friend.
Next, we’ll ask some questions about your living situation. Do you have a yard? Do you live in an apartment or house? How many people and pets will share the space with your new kitten?
Finally, we’ll ask about your preferences. Do you have a specific breed or size in mind? Are you looking for a pet that’s active or more laid back?
